Though meant to enable people to become open air preachers, this collection of four videos is valuable to anyone who wants to evangelize, whether it is to their friends, neighbors or just people they meet on the bus. What sets Pastor Ray Comfort apart from so many other evangelists is that he believes, "You can't lead someone to Jesus until you've led them to Moses." His point is simply that the good news of the gospel - that we have been forgiven our sins through Christ's death on the cross - doesn't make any sense unless a sinner first becomes aware that they are indeed a sinner. To make them aware Comfort confronts them with the Law and shows that they have not met that standard. For example in his "Good Test" Comfort offers $20 to anyone in the crowd who thinks they are good. Most in the crowd will leap at the offer. But after Comfort asks if they have ever lied ("And what does that make you? "A liar"), ever stolen something ("So I'm a thief"), or ever lusted after a woman, it starts to become clear they are not quite as good as they thought. An amazing collection that is even more valuable as a classroom resource, showing our somewhat sheltered students what the world really thinks of itself and the gospel. Students will particularly enjoy Comfort taking on hecklers. Another worthwhile presentation by Ray Comfort is called Hell's Best Kept Secret.
