Tyndale used his great language abilities to translate the Bible into English but was burned at the stake for his efforts. This is a well-acted film but it is a tad hard to keep track of who everyone is (the cast of characters is quite large). So while this does require some deliberate concentration, the superb performances make it a good one for study groups, teachers and anyone interested in Church History. And the extra material that comes on the DVD is impressive as well: articles, questions sheets and an accompanying documentary that makes all clear for those who are left a little confused by the vast cast.
